Yes, on two systems, looked it up, seems legit.

Yeah, Windows is a bloody adware now. And no answer in official FAQ how to disable. Gonna ask their support.

I've got just a small icon next to the language button on W7, but it's still annoying. If you get any response from the support about how to turn it of, could you be so kind and share it with us?

I would NOT get windows 10. I heard that it has more and worse bugs then vista had/has.

Meh, I failed to go through their support (at work i dont have my windows key and at home yesterday their support engine worked with errors),
so I just found a correct phrase to google ("remove Get Windows 10") and found that I need to uninstall update KB3035583 (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3035583) and make it hidden to stop from auto downloading it again.

There are some optional additional ways and sophisticated details in links below, e.g. to uninstall another update and to kill the application GWX.exe from memory and erase it from disc if the update uninstallation doesn't do that.

I'll go from Windows 7 to Windows 10 after they've fixed the initial wave of issues after release.

Microsoft is aiming to get 1 billion Windows 10 installs world wide after 2 to 3 years which is why they are pushing it so hard. When they released Windows Vista and later Windows 7 a lot of people were still sticking with Windows XP. They don't want to go through that again. So even if you have a illegitimate copy of Windows, a.k.a. the share ware version, they will offer you the upgrade to Windows 10. They would rather you have an illegal copy of Windows 10 than an illegal copy of Windows 7.
