After minecon, this past weekend. Mojang have announced a story mode.

It is great that Minecraft is evolving, but the trailer doesnt look nice for me. It has no solid story orbeginning of a story, no new impressive features. And the script sounds bombastic and hollow. I hope the final thing will be better.

Thanks for reminding about MineCon, went to see the summary of announcements. Dual wielding, shields, enchanted arrows, buff bar, End big remaking, ...

It's a Telltale game, that's how all their games are. Story first, game second. If you like their games and if you like Minecraft, you will most likely enjoy this game too :)

Haven't played their games yet. Will try to buy something of theirs, most likely the Borderlands one.

Other than enjoying the story, I don't see this game being worth any money. We had a better time playing an adventure map with the community and the experience might be similar with this game too.

I'm guessing unlike the actual minecraft game, this won't have much replay value at all. I might watch a let's play on youtube to catch the story, that was enough for me regarding Starcraft 2.
