  • More Java trouble


    This is the third time in three months that Oracle is being forced to release an emergency patch for Java because of security exploits. Currently there's an exploit in Java that is actively being used.

    So it's that time again: update your Java as soon as you can.

    You can download the latest Java 7u17 here: http://java.com/download

    This bugfix was first intended to be released somewhere in april. But because it's being abused already and at least 3 billion devices run Java, Oracle decided to release an update now.

    You can stay save by updating Java to the latest version, and by disabling the Java plugin in your browser.

      Yep, a good amount of hacking has been going around because of it's security. Read some articles about it..

      Hmm they seem to have skipped 7u16 as well.
      Flash plugin is bad, but seems java is even worse nowadays...
