Bugs, glitches, crashes: Report them here!

Please post any bugs, glitches or crashes you encounter in this thread!

We want to be a small buffer between you, the people playing HappyDiggers AMP, and the mod authors. The reason for this is to prevent them from being flooded by the same bug reports over and over.

So please post any issues you may have in this thread, and then we will contact the mod authors and submit the bug reports to the appropriate places

The way to report a problem is as follows:
-Tell us what you were doing when the crash happened.
-Tell us what version of HappyDiggers AMP you are using. The recommended version is always the highest version number. You can find this on the FTB client, see screenshot:
    Spoiler!

-Always include log files! As soon as Minecraft has encountered a problem get the files mentioned below. DO NOT START Minecraft until after you have done this.

    • ForgeModLoader-client-0.log

This file is located in your FTB_directory\HappyDiggersAMP\minecraft directory.

    • crash-YYYY-MM-DD_HH.MM.ss-client.txt

This file is located in your FTB_directory\HappyDiggersAMP\minecraft\crash-reports directory

Open the file wit Notepad, copy everything (CTRL+A, CTRL+C). Then go to http://paste2.org and paste the contents of the file there (CTRL+V). Click submit. Then copy/paste the URL you get here.

Keep in mind that we need as much information as possible. Without it we can't and won't track down issues.

Crashed twice, all I did was try to Shift-click a research note into a research table.

    Here are the notes

    Thanks for submitting the info

The issue has already been reported on the mod author's Github so it should hopefully be fixed soon.

    • IndustrialCraft-2 MV transformer recipe is shown wrong in NEI. It only shows 1 piece of copper cable. Mod author knows about the issue. Use the full recipe for now. See http://ftbwiki.org/MV-Transformer

    HappyDiggers AMP v2.0.1

When teleporting into a room that has lamps from Porject Red there is a small chance the client will crash with the following error:
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Comparison method violates its general contract!

This can also happen when using the elevator block from Extra Utilities.

This issue has been fixed, see: https://github.com/MrTJP/ProjectRed/issues/322

We now have to wait for a new release of Project Red.

HappyDiggers AMP 2.1.0 ~ 2.1.3 (and likely every other version of AMP that uses Applied Energistics rv13)

A server will show increasing amounts of CPU being consumed by ME controllers. You can verify this using Opis on a server.

The problem is caused by the use of basic import and basic export buses.

The solution is simple: DO NOT USE BASIC IMPORT/EXPORT BUSES.

Since development of Applied Energistics is halted for the foreseeable future, we don't expect a bugfix for this.
