I heard yesterday that Mojang will raise the price of minecraft user license. That's right. So, if you have friends who would like to buy minecraf user license, please check the link below and see the planned price increases in your region. Prices will be raised on Monday, May 23, 2016

I've made a table to show how crazy these price increases are:

    Country
Currency Old price New price Increase in percentage
US USD 26.95 26.95 Microsoft HQ sits here
    Australia AUD 25 35 + 40%
Brazil BRL - 99 ∞ They are paying too much now.
    Canada CAD 28 35 + 25%
Switzerland CHF 23 23 - Rich friends and illegal money are here. So they still get a discount!
China CNY 165 165 - Don't want to upset the biggest growth market
    Denmark DKK 149 180 + 20.8%
Europe EUR 19.95 23.95 + 20% This used to be the base price.
UK GBP 17.95 17.95 - They were already paying too much. They still are.
Hong Kong HKD 210 210 - They were already paying too much. They still are.
    Norway NOK 149 229 + 53.7%
    New Zealand NZD 32 40 + 25%
    Poland PLN 80 100 + 25%
    Russia RUB 1400 1900 + 35.7%
    Sweden SEK 169 225 + 54.31%
    Taiwan TWD 800 800 - No change
Japan JPY - 3000 ∞ They are paying too much now.
    Korea KRW - 30000
Average increase (not counting ∞/-): 30.5%

If you haven't bought Minecraft yet. This should be enough incentive to pirate the game from here on out. Games should become cheaper over time, not get a 30% price increase. Screw you Microsoft. Screw you Mojang

Converting USD price to RUR gives 1800 roubles, not 1900. Interesting.
