Install trouble

Haven't been here in a long time. Hope to be back.

I initially installed the wrong TFC (0.79.28). I realized this mistake and deleted it then installed 0.79.15.538 as the sticky thread said. I was able to join the lobby but when I tried to teleport it said that I still had 0.79.28 installed. So I deleted my .minecraft folder and tried again with everything but still to no avail. It still says that I have 0.79.28 installed, even though I know that I don't.

In game, when I try to teleport to Freebie TFC I get this prompt:

"Teleport in progress, please wait...
Kicked whilst connecting to freebietfc: Mod rejections
[FMLMod:terrafirmacraft{0.79.28}]"



Also, what Forge should I be using? I used forge-1.7.10-10.13.4.1558-1.7.10-installer.
