Reserving frequencies and enderchest color codes

In this thread you can reserve wireless redstone frequencies and color codes for ender chests. Everyone can reserve blocks of 500 frequences for bases/people living together. Please reserve your frequencies in blocks like this: 1000 - 1499, not 1000 - 1500.

I'm reserving the following for the home at spawn:
Wireless redstone frequencies:
4000 - 4499

And the following color codes for our ender chests:

Logistics Pipes sattelite IDs
100 - 199

We are reserving frequencies 2000 - 2499. (which we have been using for a while now)

also as of ender chests;

Using: Yellow - Blue - Yellow
(Light) Blue - Magenta - Black

For Upcoming plans: Magenta - white - Magenta
Black - Blue - Black

ethe, I edited your range to 4500-4999. Wireless redstone frequencies don't go above 5000 for some reason. Sorry for giving you the wrong range ;)

i thought the ender chests and ender tanks locked to specific player with diamond or is it bugged ?

Ender chest colors are not player specific. It has always been like that, and it is the way it's supposed to work :)

Locking ender chests with diamonds is a different matter. When playing on a server where people share their ender chest networks, reserving color codes helps us to avoid a mess when people connect a quarry to an ender chest network meant to supply a nuclear reactor with uranium rods for example.

It's the same with wireless redstone frequencies. You don't want someone's door switch to turn off the safety switch of a nuclear reactor for example.

That's why we have this thread. People can reserve (within reason) all the color codes and frequencies they use :)

I dont use wireless/tesseract yet, so u can move me anywhere.
Just want to have green-brown-green for chests if it is available.

So about portal guns. I have read the wiki, and I dont quite get it. So by default there are 3 guns with independent portal pairs: Default, Atlas, P-body. And the Bacon portal, which is configurable, so i could have my green-brown colors. But where this configuration should be set - in my client config file? Can I do it myself and everything will work?

Remember I asked u guys about turrets? PortalGun's turrets work pretty nice :)))

iChan's site states this about modern default/atlas/pbody/bacon/potato guns set:
This is your special set of portals on SMP. Unique per individual.

Wikia's FTB wiki says that:
1. The potato portal gun is for SMP, and is your private portal gun that isn't shared with other people's portal guns (unlike the normal version, Atlas, or P-Body).
2. The Bacon Gun was designed for SMP, as it it the only gun which is private (others with a Bacon Portal Gun will not be able to change your portals). The colours the Gun shoots can be configured in the client side config file of the Portal Gun Mod.

So probably no special setup is required to separate individual guns. Hope to test today if any other gun user will be on.

Btw, maybe add existing food network and trade network codes?
At Mupje place codes are Blue-White-Blue for trade and Blue-Gray-Blue for food.

I seem to understand portal guns better now, see my added info in the updated post.

RX afair said he uses bacon gun. I made bacon gun, had it's colors defined in my client's config file to brown/green.
I came to RX's base, he has both his portals on display on his house. I used mines - they were brown and green and they did not replace RX's. So I guess we are good!

Yes I have a bacon one ;), was going to see if it depends on who uses it vs which one it was by both using same one though it seems you have the answer to your question :)

Looks like the portal gun is by user, not the item, at least for the bacon one, me and hep tried it out.

Added the trade and food networks to the OP. Also removed the portal gun column from the list.
